Cafe Tamar

Cafe Tamar might be the best Kosher restaurant (dairy) in Budapest, at least according to the customers. They serve Israeli dishes as well as pizzas. The same crew runs a falafel bar nearby that is worth checking out.

Brooklyn Bagel

Brooklyn Bagel is located in Zsilip Synagogue and Jewish Center. Bagels seem to be a hit, but there are other tasty dishes. If you are ordering takeaway, check the fee; it’s not mentioned in the menu.

Carmel

Carmel is one of the oldest kosher restaurants in Budapest, serving traditional Hungarian and Jewish dishes. Live music is a big draw. They serve Shabbat meals, but you have to arrange it beforehand. Reservations are highly recommended.

Ashis’ serves fresh and tasty kosher street food in a very friendly and laid-back setting. Atmosphere stands out.
