Saboré

Saboré transitioned to a fully gluten-free kitchen after the owners’ daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease. They serve delicious tapas-style dishes from all over the world, great for sharing. As they say on their website:  Food means more than what is on the plate — it is connection, community, and culture. Our kitchen celebrates diversity, creativity, and authenticity while choosing simplicity and excellent ingredients.

NonGluten Pizzeria

NonGluten Pizzeria is a great little Italian restaurant, offering tasty pizzas, pastas, and risottos, all gluten-free. But you couldn’t tell the difference from regular stuff, so everybody can enjoy the food. Gluten-free beer is an added bonus.

GlutiliNO focuses on pizzas and tiramisu, two of the Italian favorites. They are delicious, and so is everything else. There is a small bakery section as well, where you can buy gluten-free bread and pastries.

Meat Again Grill & Wine

Meat Again Grill and Wine offers Hungarian, Greek, Turkish, Serbian, and Italian dishes in a very modern interior. All are gluten and lactose-free. Food is excellent, wines are as well. Tucked away in a small street in Buda, it’s far away from touristy areas,  thus stands out among gluten-free restaurants in Budapest.

Kata PEST

Kata PEST is located on a lovely pedestrian street just behind the Opera House. Elegant interior, great outdoor sitting. Dishes range from Hungarian to Mediterranean, prepared with seasonal ingredients. Service is top-noch.

Tibidabo Gluténmentes Étterem is one of the newest gluten-free restaurants in Budapest. But not really, because they have a well-known gluten-free bakery in another location. The restaurant also has a bakery part, everything is gluten-free and very tasty. There are also refreshing drinks, friendly service, and daily menu offers.

Free! Gluten Free Bakery Pest

Free! Gluten Free Bakery Pest is the newest location of the well-known local bakery, focused on gluten-free goodies. Another location is on the Buda side, close to Mammut shoping mall. There are tons of food options and they are all delicious.
